Slidell Photography Club Photographer of the Year 2004

It's a Three-peat for Peyton

Jared Peyton has been named as the 2004 Photographer of the Year for Slidell Photography Club. He has been a member of Slidell Photography Club for almost five years and is a junior at Northshore High School. His photograph titled, “Extreme Photographer” can be viewed in the Slidell Public Library on Robert Boulevard throughout the month of January.

This image was taken one year ago in Oregon where he traveled on scholarship with The North American Nature Photography Association. This scholarship is presented to only ten high school students cross the nation and offered him the opportunity to work in the field and in the classroom with nationally renowned nature photographers.
